Peacock Wallaby Community Collaboration with Peacock Gallery

  • Peacock Gallery Auburn Botanic Gardens Auburn Australia (map)

Please join Studio A artists, Makers Circle and the Peacock Gallery team to create a collaborative community artwork installation called Peacock Wallaby for exhibition at the Peacock Gallery from 10 August to 9 September 2019.

"Migrating birds frequently visit Auburn’s Botanic Gardens. In Winter 2019 a flock of artists from Studio A will join the migration.”

From June to August 2019 six Studio A artists will take inspiration from the Auburn Botanic Gardens to develop new work for exhibition at Peacock Gallery.

Inspired by the magic that can happen when diverse minds and hands meet, Studio A will also work directly with Cumberland Council’s local community to collaboratively produce a new installation known as Peacock Wallaby.

You can spend a just few hours working and sharing with the Studio A Artists, Makers Circle and Peacock Gallery Team or you come for the whole day we would love to see you there!

Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

Please don't hesitate in contacting Peacock Gallery if you would like more information or if you have any access requirements on 8757 9029 or email peacockgallery@cumberland.nsw.gov.au.
