Studio A collects and uses information that you provide to us voluntarily, including in relation to:

  1. donations you make to us;
  2. sales and leasing transactions you undertake with us;
  3. artist applications and waiting lists;
  4.  volunteer applications;
  5. information you provide when you sign up to receive our newsletter or other marketing communications; 
  6. information you provide when you attend our events; and
  7. information you provide when you are involved in projects, commissions, licensing & collaborations with us.

Studio A also collects and uses information through automatic processes. Usually, this information is anonymised and non-personally identifiable, but sometimes information collected can be or become personally identifiable. For example: 

  1. information collected about your engagement with our newsletters or marketing communications; 
  2. information collected through cookies or tracking technologies about your engagement with our website (see Section 7 for more information on Cookies);
  3. information collected through third party tracking services (such as Google Analytics) to gain insights into website usage trends and enhance the user experience of our website.

(c) We make efforts to keep this information anonymised, but there are times where it is necessary to share your personal information and we take reasonable steps to ensure that the disclosure is subject to reasonable confidentiality terms and the recipient is subject to a law or binding scheme that protects personal information in a way that is, at a minimum, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
