It's time to face off with your emotions, Sydney! Thom Roberts is set to transform hoardings across the city with his Fan of Feelings Portriffs.
Thom is one of just eight artists chosen to brighten up construction sites across the city for the 2026 City of Sydney Creative Hoardings Program! The program brings vibrant Australian artworks to otherwise tired construction sites, transforming them into engaging cultural spaces.
Thom’s Fan of Feeling Portriffs series will do just that, splashing Thom's technicolour, oversized portraits across hoardings throughout Sydney. Featuring 24 distinct emotions, from happy to sad, anxious to silly, the works invite passersby to come face-to-face with the full emotional spectrum, all remade in Thom’s kaleidoscope style.
So if you're in Sydney, keep your eyes peeled! You might just spot a familiar feeling looking right back at you.
