Join us for a sensory-friendly Art After Hours on Wednesday 3 July 2024 in the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ south building, Naala Nura.
This is an opportunity for visitors who may benefit from a calmer, quieter environment to experience the Art Gallery with reduced sensory stimuli. There will be fewer people, no public announcements and gentler light during this evening, and an artist talk, artist-led workshop and Auslan tour to celebrate Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2024.
Try your hand at portraiture in this workshop with Archibald finalists Daniel Kim and Thom Roberts. Drop in to the workshop anytime between 6pm and 8pm. All materials provided and all abilities welcome.
This event may suit people on the autism spectrum and those living with disability, dementia, a mental health condition or chronic illness. All ages are welcome.
