Catherine McGuiness, Guy Fredericks and Meagan Pelham are all finalists in the 2025 Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Prize!
In its fifth year, the prize is one of Australia’s leading competitions for works with an environmental focus, and invites artists to submit across art, design, and young categories, with over $40,000 to be won between them.
Guy’s Lasso 1 & 2, Meagan’s Bird Land Washy Whale Party and Catherine’s My Parents Always Called Me a Possum (made in collaboration with Diane Pirotta) were all selected in the Art category, which can be viewed at Manly Art Gallery and Museum, Tuesdays – Sundays, 10 am – 5 pm.
When you visit, don't forget to vote for your favourite work to win the People's Choice Award!
The Design category can be viewed at Curl Curl Creative Space, and the Young category can be viewed at Mona Vale Creative Space Gallery.
The Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Prize exhibition runs until Sunday, September 14.
