Nature Machine: The 6th Tamworth Textile Triennial

Lauren Kerjan exhibits work as part of the 6th Tamworth Textile Triennial: Nature Machine.

The Tamworth Textile Triennial stands to champion fibre and textile artists in Australia. This major national exhibition platforms both leading and emerging textile artists, and provides a vital space for them to explore the ways makers grapple with the relationship between hand, body and machine.

This triennial's collection has been curated by textile artist and Director of Mosman Art Gallery, Blake Griffiths, and more specifically focuses on artwork created with sustainability in mind. Each piece is incredibly unique, and utilises textile resources that have been grown, harvested, recycled or reimagined.

Nature Machine: 6th Tamworth Textile Triennial opens at Tamworth Regional Gallery on September 19, before beginning its national tour later next year.
