MAC yapang Art Prize

Two Studio A artists are finalists in the inaugural MAC yapang Art Prize.

Emily Crockford's The Clouds with the Wallabies in the Grass, as well as Catherine McGuiness' collaboration with Diane Pirotta titled Koala eat my gum leaves, are finalists with a chance to win a grand prize of $30,000 and have their work acquired by the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang for the permanent collection.

Currently in its first year, finalists were selected from over 800 entrants across multiple disciplines and media, and will be judged by Dr Daniel Mudie Cunningham, Director of Wollongong Art Gallery, on October 17th.

The MAC yapang Art Prize exhibition runs from 18 October to 07 December 2025.
