Mathew Calandra and Meagan Pelham both have short films featuring in Frame Shift 2026!
Brought to you by Accessible Arts and the Sydney Opera House, Frame Shift is a biannual short film series in celebration of International Day of People with Disability, that features ten original films and video artworks by artists with disability. See thought-provoking works that push boundaries and redefine genres as they explore experimental film techniques in creative access.
Mathew Calandra's short film, Vader and Scorpio: Fighting Their Way to Friendship, is a powerful testament to the enduring strength of friendship, and highlights how Mat finds solace and inspiration within his favourite stories.
Meagan Pelham's Vote For Me honours her commitment to love and democracy with a pop song-inspired campaign video. Meagan advocates that people with disability have the right to experience passionate romance. A vote for Meagan is a vote for democratic love.
See these two powerful video works, as well as many more groundbreaking films in Frame Shift, at 6pm on December 3rd at the Sydney Opera House. Find out more and book your tickets HERE.
This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body.
