Meagan Pelham is hitting the road to Broken Hill to reunite with her BFF and present a special Birds of Broken Hill workshop!
For one night only Meagan invites you into her wonderful world for a lovebird inspired drawing workshop, facilitated by Tanja Bruckner and accompanied by Meagan’s favourite love song playlist and videos about her practice and performance art.
Meagan is a multidisciplinary artist practising painting, poetry, drawing and performance. Meagan is the ultimate romantic, someone who creates and lives by a philosophy of true love. Birds are an important part of Meagan's practice as they represent the vibrance and colour of people with Down Syndrome. Her favourite subjects are her signature ‘love owls’, which she draws in pairs to signify how they are the most romantic of animals.
Hosted by Slag Heap Projects, this free workshop is a unique chance for Broken Hill locals to meet Meagan and create something truly special.
All are welcome to the FREE workshop where materials, snacks and drinks will be provided.
That can't be missed!
