The Archibald Prize is one of Australia's most prestigious art prizes. Since 1921, artists from all over Australia and New Zealand have dedicated themselves to creating portraits of influential figures and artists in Australian communities.
The Wynne Prize for landscape painting of Australian scenery, or figure sculpture, celebrates the diversity of representations of our country, and the Sulman Prize is for subject painting, genre painting or a mural project.
In 2026, Meagan Pelham, Thom Roberts and Daniel Kim all have portraits exhibiting in the Archibald Prize.
