Halfway through its regional tour, the 2025 Archibald Prize heads to Mudgee!

The Archibald Prize is Australia’s most celebrated portraiture award, presented annually by the Art Gallery of NSW. First awarded in 1921, the prize was established to foster portraiture and celebrate Australians who have made significant contributions to arts, letters, science, and politics.

On March 20, this iconic exhibition launches at the Mudgee Arts Precinct, with an opening night full of art, conversation and connection. See portraits from Studio A's Mathew Calandra, Daniel Kim, Catherine McGuiness and Meagan Pelham!

The Archibald Prize tours Mudgee until May 3rd. For more details on tickets and access, visit the Mudgee Arts Precinct website.
