In celebration of Firstdraft’s current exhibition Paired, curated by Harriet Body, Studio A presents Co-Lab.

Studio A Co-Lab with special guests, Hack Sounds, is an experimental activation of the gallery space that involves much more than just looking at art. See Studio A artists at work, work with Studio A artists and become part of the work itself.

Prepare to be uploaded as Thom Roberts digitally remasters your face into an emoji, fall under the spell of hopeless romantic Meagan Pelham as she guides guests in an ‘Owl Love’ drawing workshop and discover your comic alter ego as Greg Sindel draws out your inner super hero.

Ringmaster and roaming performer Skye Saxon will be on hand to keep everyone in line as kooky koala collaborators, Rosie Deacon & Emily Crockford create chaos. And when the interaction gets all too much, kick back with a sausage sizzle and enjoy live painting by Peter Dudding and Paul Williams.

From 2pm special guests, Hack Sounds, a community-based and collaborative electronic music outfit for people of all abilities, will be offering up some sweet beats for your listening pleasure.
