The Props Collective is a collaboration between seven Studio A supported artists – Emily Crockford, Skye Saxon, Damian Showyin, Phil Sidney, Guy Fredericks, Victoria Atkinson and Lauren Kerjan managed by Studio A's Principal Artist, Emma Johnston – who create ephemeral installations, decorative sculptures and performances for a variety of exhibition contexts. The Props Collective can be commissioned to create decorative sculptures and design concepts for various corporate and private parties and events.
Previous commissions have included installations and performances for Art Month Sydney's Redfern Precinct Art Bar (2017) and well as installations for Chippendale Creative Precinct Chinese New Year celebration (2016), and Beams Festivals (2013, 2014 & 2015). The collective also work with corporates, creating decorations to suite various themes for corporate functions at venues such as Quay Restaurant, Bar 100, and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
