Studio A is a social enterprise initiative operating within Studio ARTES Northside Inc, an independent, not-for-profit organisation that offers creative programs with whole of life outcomes for adults with disability.

Driven by a passion for inclusion, equity and respect Studio ARTES caters to adults with disability regardless of their age or funding status.

Studio ARTES was launched in 2000 in response to the need for adults with disability to have access to the creative arts. Seeing the transformative personal impact the arts had on high school students with disability, and the talent such students showed in the visual arts, Studio ARTES was kick-started by a handful of volunteers working in a garage space.

Fifteen years later Studio ARTES provides creative programs to over one hundred and thirty adults with disability weekly, and employs over twenty five staff.
